You got, Heavy Metal, eg Black Sabbath, Led Zeplin etc, British Heavy Metal Iron Maiden, American Heavy Metal, Chimaira, Trash Metal, Pantera, Metallica, Modern Metal, Machine Head, Bullet For My Valentine, Gothic Metal Cradle of Filth, Lacuna Coil it's all Metal, there's just different branches, however, Punk doesn't come under Metal, that comes under rock, that's another family three-Screamo or Emo aren't Metal either

Trivium? They are the prime example of manufactured music. Their old albums were OK, and sounded completely different, but all of a sudden it all changed and their newers ones just sound like they attempted to rip Metallica off, and failed miserably. They seem like they just haven't found their own sound. I quite like Lamb of God though to be honest. Not all of their songs, but some are pretty good. No band give me more of a buzz than Machine do though.

Sorry, I'm all for respecting someone's death, but not all of us are Pantera fans, and therefore, quite frankly, Dimebag means absolutely jack-shit to some of us. He wasn't even that great with guitar, absolutely nothing in comparison to guitarists such as Michael Angelo Batio. I should be able to like a song without bullshit shoved down my throat about having to respect the death of someone I never knew.
