Dan Marino never had any talent around him, it isn't comparable, don't compare maybe the greatest QB ever to a WR with a little above average career. I will say that I don't care if a WR wins a ring, and it really isn't that big of a deal, because the position can't always carry a team, but Holt having one is just another accomplishment that Smith doesn't have, it isn't like it hurts to have one. But I don't frown on a WR for not having a ring.

His 2nd best year was '06 with 1,166. Torry Holt has only ONE season UNDER 1,166 that was his Rookie year. 8 seasons better than 1,166. 2 Better than 1,563. Steve Smith DOESNT compare. Still score? Man he averages 5 TDs a season. Thats not STILL SCORING. He is an average WR with above average skills. U can't still be blaming lack of talent around him after 7 seasons. His average season is 62 catches 847 yards 5 TDs. That is WEAK!!! He did have the triple crown, but has he come close since? Has he even finished in the top 5 in ANY category? NOT CONSISTENT. Ok since he became Carolina's premiere reciever he has only had one season below 1000 yards...which was the season he played 1 fucking game. Last year, even through starting 4 different QB's he got 1000 yards. And the only year he started every single game he got over 1500 yds with 12 TD's. Not even mentioning what he did in the playoffs. Consistency is difficult when you have a completely different team around you each year. Maybe you should pay attention instead of looking at raw numbers.

Steven Jackson is way better than Steve Smith, please dude, Jackson is in a worse position than Smith, doing a harder job better than Smith. He's a better talent, player, teammate, he makes more big plays, and when the pieces around him play like they should like two years ago, he has over 2,300 total yards, and 16 TD's.
