I was there when this happened and honestly the kids did nothing wrong. The police claimed that the kids were blocking traffic, which was not the case. It was a ridiculous situation, but a better video would have been the craziness actually on campus that day. People were crying in the streets and cutting themselves and just smoking themselves into oblivion. I'm glad I transferred out of there.

I think it's great that these kids stood up for what they believed in and openly protested. It's not only our constitutional right it's being a good citizen - complacency breeds tyranny. And sitting on the sideline taking pot shots at those who participate is lazy at best. As to whether or not these students actually made a difference - it's not for us to decide. The point is they tried to do something. History is full conflicts with humble beginnings.
