athletisicm can be trained. strength training on abs,and legs mixed in with vertical explosivenss training equals better ups. there are plenty people who couldnt dunk in high school who can now slam in college. anything in basketball can be toguht through repitition but you are right in a way because a majority of talents are God given in this lifetime.
