yes It is just you, Mike and Brian are confident that M night is directing avatar. his work is only directing and that can't damage the avatar, ofcourse his other directing was awesome. So I'm confident that it will work out as long as Mike and Brian say so.

I dunno, M night hasn't had a good movie since the Sixth Sense (which was even nominated for a best picture) and that was nine years ago.
He's fallen off heavily and I don't have any high expectations for this avatar "movie".

I thought the Death Note flicks were ok but the anime was far superior. Reminds me of the Harry Potter movies compared to the books. My main criticisms were the cinematography and atmosphere. In the anime, you had these great cuts and close-ups, which made it very exciting and suspenseful. There was also the brilliant music that fit so well.
I felt the Death Note movies didn't have those features. It wasn't as exciting nor suspenseful, partially also because we already knew 80% of the story.

You pretty much got it all, execpt: azula goes insane (which is pretty funny), Zuko finds out roku is his great grandpa (so technically, aang is his grandad lol)...um...mai basically becomes the new firelady (I hope, anyway) the white lotus club is explained, and THEY STILL DIDN'T EXPLAIN WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO URSA!!!
Other than that last bit, season three rawked. :)

Season three was the absolute best (probably because of Maiko and the beach episode...and just because I love the fire nation). Katara totally turned into a wicked-awesome waterbender at 1:25 XD

Man, I can't believe it's over. I DEARLY hope they bring it back somehow (and, no, I don't care about the planned live-action movie). Maybe since it sort of ended in a cliffhanger, they'll think of making a new show that takes place like 5 - 7 years later, and all the protagonists are grown up. Would give it a more mature tone, if you ask me.
