Dale died from the crash because the neck supporter failed and his neck snapped the wrong way, he didn't die from cancer or anything else and he was a great guy and if you didn't like him i have nothing against that just don't call him names cause it's not cool all it's doing is making people hate you so next time you want to call him names think about the no good your doing and how not cool it is.

that's right, look at Tony Stewart's crash in the same race, poor baby, hurt his shoulder. It's physics....remember high school? Body in motion, car in motion, Tony lived. Nothing odd about ol' 3's crash at the start, but car stopped, body in motion...other things going on as well. Physics, the NASCAR announcers talk about it all the time, as applies to racing. You didn't have your seat belts on. Respond to me all you want, but you know he had them off at this time. You've seen the crash. The crash was light--yet fatal for one reason. If this crash with all the protection kill Earnhardt, we'd have a lot more deaths today.

boristwotimes, u can look it up, one of his leg straps on his seatbelt broke because it wasnt installed corectly, and he wasnt wearing a HANS device which caused his head and neck to snap forward causing a basilar skull fracture, and plus he was going 180+ miles an hour, straight into a cement wall, and stopping on impact.
