From the November 25th, 1964 edition of 'Shindig!'. One of Chad and Jeremy's earliest tv appearances, singing their then-latest hit "Willow Weep For Me". Unlike quite a lot of the groups on these sorts of shows, there was no lipsynching for Messrs Stuart & Clyde. At least not yet, anyway.

could anything be more romantic, in the most enduring sense.. I think the imagery is clearly about someone dying of broken heart, and the lyrics support this throughout: "Bend your branches down/and cover me" grave image
