Are we not in Iraq to protect the basic human rights, to enable the citizens to sustain themselves,then why are we not doing that for Burma? Does this just prove that our (Bush's) motives have nothing to do with protecting the citizens or are they just protecting the resouces that would be a potential loss?I thought the USA was founded on all men being created equally. It seems we chose who are equal maybe if we spent more energy on basic human rights for the world it might be a little better!

how about we stop being world police. if you don't like whats going on in Burma than get off your lazy ass and go over there and do something. its so easy to say why aren't are troops over there stopping this. we cant keep fighting wars for everybody its not the militaries job to save the world from itself. the only time we should ever go to war is for the protection of our country not to help everyone with a problem. this mindset has to stop that our military is a world police agency.

I think there is only three ways to end the conflicts in Burma. One, is Military Actions ..with NATO Forces. Two, would be using the Rebels and southeast asian Military(Thai and Viet) to over throw their Government. Three, would be to cut off their supplys of Weapons coming in from china. China is their number 1 sponsors when it comes to weapons and such ! I hope the Burmese ppl stay safe ! one day i hope they will gain their freedom Back.

We do have the resources to go over there, it's called counter-ops, intelligence, and if citizens with cameras can film, we can certainly get trained professionals to document, expose, and give a voice to the people. All it takes to stop the military is to cut off their funding and their supplies. We know what we have to do, we're just not doing it.
