Germany before the LP was released. Zep toured as the "New Yardbirds" briefly to fulfill Yardbirds obligations as Peter Grant managed both. I'm guessing they tested out their new material while there in this one. Fantastic indeed!

I´m from Denmark. I know it´s a little country up in the northern Europe, but this serie: Led Zeppelin lost performance 1-5 is recorded in a little beatclub called teenclub in Gladsaxe in the outshirt of Copenhagen, and it was the start of the most powerfull and fantastic rock and roll band. So we are verry offended when you call us for Nederland (Holland) or Germany :-) When we really have something to be proud about!

Zeppelin was just incredible. They dominated. I remember what Henry Rollins said: Sure, there's a lot of great bands today, but not a one of them could touch Led Zeppelin at their peak. They were the most powerful live band ever.

That's crazy.
I've been working on rewriting Smokestack Lightning with the riff from How Many More Times; I've never seen this video before or heard Jimmy play the SL riff. I thought the two songs seemed to go together, I'm glad Jimmy feels the same way.
