But would you also bring along your wife, two kids and mother-in-law, all prone to carsickness? Not if you could avoid it. But we couldn't. Such is married life. Besides, Mom was the one with keys to the cabin.

i agree with this guy. i absolutly hated the exterior of the car when i first seen it on the internet but when you get the chance to see the car in person you will think it would be a no non-sense, middle finger in the air type of ride. The body lines just give out that feeling when your looking at it. Now imagine what its like when you drive it.

My subaru has great handling, and it's just a stock impreza. You pretty much put the nose where you want it, and yes, you do take kind of a hit in gas mileage, but it's not bad. Just be wary of the slight understeer that's engineered into road-going awd cars.

Well all car manufacturers(even Lotus) usually tune a little bit of understeer into their cars as a safety net for idiots who can't get a car around a corner without crashing. It's not noticeable or anything in AWD cars unless you push them all the way to their limits.

Well thats annoying, I like everything closer to oversteer with a really sharp steering wheel. Thats why I used to ONLY drive my GFs car and never mine, she had a 2006 Scion tC and it had oversteer and i loved it!

Don't worry about the oversteer zmass. You'll learn to drive manipulate the AWD as you learn. Once you get good at it, the AWD is amazing. You can toss the car whatever way you want, and then use the throttle to bring it back under control if you see what I mean. Either way, don't worry -- you can't go wrong with a Suby.
