Another video of my home theater setup.
To distract and acquire ideas on the subject of home theaters and configurations.
My camera has a very sensitive microphone, and recorded everything, you hear a little hiss and background noise as accentuates the sofa.

nice, i have 2 definitive tech. bookshelf speakers as my back speakers...two mts tower speakers for the front...a nice velodyne 12 inch subwoofer... a polk audio center channel and a denon avr 1707 amplifier/reciever. im about to hook up some side speakers but i got them from my uncle and i dont know what kind they are.

Dude... Why do you have like 4 different brands of speakers? That's just stupid, and makes it sound horrible. Don't invest in nice Definitive Technology speakers, then have the rest of the speakers junk... All you have now is just a hodge podge of shit.

okay... since when were mts towers( very nice) considered crappy? and just cuz i didnt buy a conplete ppackage... doesnt mean its bad, they are all middle to high end speakers and if you know a bit about home theater thebn you can balance and have a verrryyy nice setup.

I know plenty about home theater, since it is my profession. I'm just trying to teach you something. Ok, having that many different brands of speakers won't sound too "crappy", but it won't sound anywhere near what voice matched speakers would.
What the fuck is "MTS"??? Also, your speakers (besides the DefTech's) are all junk. Period. What model Definitive Technology speakers do you have anyways?

Well, if you're uncle is a REAL Home Theater guy, he would not have either recommended OR purchased whatever the hell MTS Speakers are. They are junk, plain and simple. I think your uncle needs to go back to theater school and get some better knowledge in his head. Neither of you seem too bright.

LOL! Yeah, I don't know anything about theater. So, I looked at the website for these speakers you own, the MTS ones, and it looks to me to be the same types that they sell in the "white van scams".
The website is horribly put together, everything is overpriced, and doesn't explain too much about their products.
Listen, little boy... I know what I'm talking about. MTS is pure junk. If it's never mentioned in any of my theater magazines, it's garbage, period.

The only negative thing i can say is that you should have had a bigger room so your polk towers really could breathe easier and generate beautiful sound! I personally like to have at least 3 feet or more of space between my speakers and back/side-walls...
