This is not an arrangement, as that would involve considerable changes to the original. Rather, it's a quite faithful transcription, with some necessary octave doublings in places to add some richness to the ensemble. It's for String Quintet constituted as 2+2+1.
Anyhow, although I very much appreciate the effort, I have to admit that I don't like it, both as a classical musician and as a long-time KC fan.

The performance is in fact rather lifeless (they don't seem to truly *feel* the music, it's aesthetic) and there are some intonation problems here and there.
On the positive side, the transcription itself is very good and does justice to the original piece. The choice of song is also clever and actually works for string quintet, which is very unexpected.

Another thing (perhaps the best) is that the transcription brings out very clearly the folklike elements of the melodic contours, specifically it's Gypsy-like features. This is especially apparent on the 1st violin lines (covering much of the vocals in the original), and especially in the "a" and "a prime" sections. I never really paid much heed to this Gypsy flavous until now... it's interesting.
And of course, the girls are pretty, especially the 1st violin. ;-)

Technically it is what it is. Look to closely at any beauty it can be diminished. Myself I think the movements are more beautiful because of the human flaws. And, yes the girl are nice to look upon. Perfection is over rated. This version of this song is in a word sexy.

well yah all said and done- thanks chicks for the effort- its a great song and they did it well though boring but damn lets give high 5's to the cleavage and if you chicks want serious comments put some heart into your next effort and not just cleavage though I'll snore through boring renditions like this for your cleavage any day! Point being throwing cleavage out there to cover up for all the strings can't overcome the lack of guitars and bass and drums maybe a porn movie would work?
