For those who don´t know,like babylamb04,Summertime,by G.Gershwin,originally was written for the OPERA,'Porgy and Bess'.So it is not an classic jazz standard,it is an opera stardard!

Summertime isn't originally a classic Jazz standard. It's an aria. Your comment is confusing. Now as for the performance itself, it was very weak. She isn't a very good singer. Her voice is mal-supported.

Hey schicchi.How you can judge if she is good singer or not?How high degree in singing do you have?Are you a professor of singing?it is inapropriate putting comment about voice when you don/t have yourself high education in classical singing.Hmm...yah..My advice to you schicchi1160 don't waste your time on criticising others,better spend time on singing learning process:)

A professor I may not be, but a classical voice student of the Juilliard school I am. And I have a fairly qualified opinion on what good singing is, being a singer myself. I go through criticism like this all the time and have every right to express a knowledgeable opinion.
