If a cliche works then why not use it? And no, a previous poster brought up Gretzky, and you proceded to label him an "18-25 male" that must have "had more than your share of beers to dumben your neuron activities." Heh. And what if I mention Gretzky? I'll concede, blacks are generally more atheletic than whites, but what of it? I mentioned Gretsky in a race-free statement. As for Gretzky v Jordan, I'm not sure I understand your point. Run it by me and please forgive me for being a fucking idiot

" Really?..lol..I have hard time believing that...If you are going to challenge Jordan as not being the best athlete ever on human recorded history, then I would expect someone to bring up names like Pele or Mohammed Ali, but Gretzky...come on!...I am not denying Gretzky was the best hockey player..but you cannot use him to discredit the argument that MJ was the best..it is absurd...and anyone who does must have some racial sentiments

I believe "athelete" is the key word. Sure, MJ may be one of the best physical atheletes, but hey, he was never really considered the physical specimen of the times. But "athelete" can also mean skilled. MJ himself will tell you his physical gifts would not have brought him as far as his skills. And yeah, if you have a hard time believing people think about these issues without racial prejudice, then.. well, what does that say about you. Again, this argument may have been just misunderstanding.

Racial prjudice? I consider myself the last person on earth to be accused of that. This whole exchange reminded me of University, when I was sitting & watching a game of hockey with couple of white classmates, whenever any black athlete was referenced on tv, they said it must be steroids (as if this drug was race biased), somehow, they had total denial of any athletic achievement of a black man. They believed that a quarterback was the most athletically damanding position! wonder wh? gretzky?
