So im just going to say this. This song is like mcdonalds, the taste is good but everybody knows that it isnt really any good.

I can totally see this song in an Adam Sandler movie. He loves putting cheesy 80's tracks in his movies.
By the way, I love this song. It's very high spirited and such. I don't know why everyone hates it. The songs today are just utter crap. There's no talent in today's music. Some singers even filter out their voices through some sound filter so that their voices don't even sound like their own anymore.
I think it's a great song too. It was inspired by the early 70s, when the studios dumped rock in favor of slow and easy music. If the song had been made then it would have come across as whining, but being made in the 80s it comes across as "we win!"
