I'm American, but don't speak for me. Laws are arbitrary and constantly changing things. There are many laws that make no sense and are broken because they are ineffective and unnecessary--so I don't see this as a matter of someone being above the law. If your talking about taxpayers being the victim, then maybe we should legalize and control prostitution as a business like it is in Europe. Otherwise, I don't understand how anyone can be "victimized" by this ordeal.
