| they were really slept on in the 80s. them and Go West. i was in a band where we did original music(jazz/funk/pop) and we'd slip in a level 42 song & people would go nuts and wonder who wrote the song. their drummer gary husband is a world renowned fusion drummer who played with allan holdsworth. mark king knew what he was doing when he ask gary 2 join the band. |

| i'm sorry homeboy but i kinda like them better than EWF and cool and the gang. they have a lot more of a jazzier edge and their songs were str8 smokin. i personally think they're better then cool and the gang and rival EWF. you've gotta consider, they're british and were going after an american market but cool and the gang and EWF had an advantage. but in the black community we always gave level 42 the utmost. |
