not sped up. Look at when his eyebrows move up and down. That's a normal speed when people are playing an accentuated note. If his eyebrows moved up and down too fast, then I can see how it was sped it. Also, I don't have perfect pitch, but the easy way to tell if it's sped up is the pitch. If it's normal pitch, then it's NOT sped up.

and dude, im not even goin to get into it, he is sped up, u said u dont hav perfect pitch, well i dont hav perfect pitch,but i can do absolute pitch pretty well,and b4 i moved onto electric guitar i was classicaly trained,so i know how a classical guitar sounds,and its def sped up,i mean jus look at how many hundreds of other comments there r on here of ppl sayin he is,come on, plus other ppl hav commented on his accelerated eyebrows too,its not even a debate,its jus whether u can see it or not

lol, i jus watched this vid again, and it still makes me chuckle how he is playin it on classicaly guitar and whoever edited this video put in a heavy metal backing track, thats truly funny, i mean how tacky and inapropriate (i think thats how u spell it :P)

dude, its not the same, i wouldnt say it if it was, absolute pitch is where by given a first note to start from you can work out what the rest will be, perfect pitch is just knowing what the note would be, so dont talk down to me please, im fed up of people on the internet insulting other people for no reason, when they either dont know what they are saying or dont know who they are talking to. thank you

What you described as "absolute pitch' is actually "relative pitch"- the ability to discern other notes by having a source note.
Perfect pitch and absolute pitch are synonymous. However, absolute pitch seems to be the preferred term in academic settings. Educate yourself before you become pompous.

i wasnt being pompous, how the hell am i supposed to know when this is what i have been taught? its like america and england have different sayings and different words for things, so i got told it was called absolute pitch, its like in some parts of europe you still know they have the note H, but in western culture we mostly call it Bb, so dont think i dont know what im saying, its just we have been taught them under different names ok, calm

well seeing as this is a piece from an opera, which is a performance where people express the emotions of their characters through music, I think it should have loads of emotion behind it.
Loot at this guy though. He's scowling the whole time, looking as though he would like to be anywhere else in the world rather than right there playing guitar.
Look up some other videos of the piece, I'm sure you'll hear more emotion in just about all of them.

I know about the H and Bb being synonymous, but never heard of relative pitch and absolute pitch being synonymous...
