i have the Zboard myself, the only minuse is that the keys are loud, and woobly, that's really the only things i can think of, but i would rather spend a little extra and buy maybe a Razer keyboard instead, <-- my opinion.

I am using a Zboard right now. Love it. I was using my parents normal keyboard earlier today and it was so wierd though. You get used to this keyboard everything else seems really wierd, that is the only downside IMO

I hated my merc shortly after buying it, it is WAY too big. It actaully hurts your arms to use the gaming part of it because its just so damn long. Going to trade it in for a fang.

A gold-plated connector means lower latency? What a load of ****. The only thing that a gold-plated connector in a non-gold-plated socket (presumably, you don't have gold-plated connectors on your computer, right?) is quicker corrosion because you're putting two different kinds of metal in close contact.
But aside from that, a gold-plated connector is not going to speed up a digital and well-defined protocol, nor is it going to reduce latency. Electrons are not going to run faster.
