I do understand what he's saying as far as young people not having a negative sense of the word, but every time I hear it sends chills up my spine. I do agree with Black dot when he said that we waste a lot of energy discussing the word and having conferences. We need to stop being distracted and it would be nice if we could address each other as brother and sister, not nigga.

I have always liked the different people of color that I've encountered. I constantly hear the word Nigger being used mainly by blacks themselves. So why is it wrong for a white person to use it? I don't like being called a cracker, but to me it's just a irritation, and not a justification for any crazy behavior. The blacks shouldn't be so sensitive to this one word. Just get over it, it's just a WORD !

Got it! I still don't like hearing it constantly from the cars of blacks in the supermarket parking lots for my kids to hear and learn. It's almost like the more they use it, the tougher they appear. Double standard to say the least. To stop the crap, you should state the "rules" now, in writing, for anyone to use the word "nigger." I'll bet you can't or won't. Waiting for the fair rules.

Defined by names? Maybe, but no need for disrespect, that was what was implied. No more. When I said the word exists, I thought that was in line with your idea that it is no use making campaigns against a word, because it won't go away. Education is the key.
