Unlikely you take a hit like this in rugby and don't get at least get the wind knocked out of you. The receiver was sprinting down the field, jumped up to make the catch, and then took a shot directly to the face and fell to the ground. I've seen hits like this in rugby, and I've never seen a person just pop up and run off right away.
You can't even compare the hits in rugby and football. Rugby's a contact sport. Football is a collision sport.
