He's like a short kobe. Don't over hype him. You never know what happens to players when they go to the NBA, that's just straight up truth. But he seems serious. I think he'll do great, his jumpshot is amazing and that's the very first thing I look for when studying a player, their jumpshot.

Yes he will have a great career, just like Durant will, but his first season will not be as productive as it would have if he was in Minnesota with Randy Foye and Al Jefferson.

He's a 6'4 Kobe Bryant. They play extremely similar styles of play. The only thing that's different is that OJ doesn't really do a fade away jumpshot from the post that often. He does fadeaways though, just not from the post.

Rudy Gay will but Conley won't. Conley's a good player and I loved him at Ohio State but he only started playing consistently solid at the end of last season. Hopefully he can start where he left off and the new look Grizzlies will have a respectable first season together but OJ is still the 2nd option.

when i look at mayo i see a player like kobe...he doesnt have to drive it in every possesion to get his points (lebron) but can get to the rim at will and he has a nice jumpshot...i like mayo he doesnt look like a bust like other 1st round draft picks
