For me, it was a 10-month-long audition process, involving an audition tape, a bishop's letter of recommendation, an extensive music theory test, an in-person evaluation, and participation in the Choir's three month long training school. You need to be a member of the LDS Church in good standing, and you need to be willing to serve as an unpaid volunteer within the Choir's rigorous schedule. It's an amazing, fulfilling experience.

Inspiring!! The Top Choir on Earth! I feel so lucky that I was able to get a ticket (they give it way for free!)to see them performing at the Mormon's(Latter Days Saints) Semi-Anual General Conference tomorrow morning in Salt Lake City Utah!!

Singers are selected when they are over 25. Musical skills and knowledge are required. Of course, being a member of the Church of Mormon is a good point. Oh and, by the way, being black doesn't put you in your advantage to be selected.

This is lovely to listen to and watch. If you ever get the opportunity to go to the conference center and listen to the choir, I highly recommend it. The accoustics are unearthly and amazing!
Don't worry about people saying bad things. The adversary wants everyone to be negative, but we can rise above that no matter what faith we are!
Go out today, smile, find opportunities to do good things for others, and thank Heavenly Father for your blessings. We have so many!
