Tina Turner really shines here. I also think it's the only film version of a Tommy song that comes close in quality to the original version! I love the film and own both the soundtrack and the original Who album and this is the only one where I wish Tina was singing instead of Roger on the original! Her interpretation rocks! So much energy. I can't say the same for Oli Reed or Jack Nicholson...
