So, you are at least partially deaf then? Nothing against Fiona but...come on. They are not alike. PJ has a lot more in her arsenal vocally than Fiona does. Once again, nothing against Fiona but PJ's in a very different class of vocalists.

Boy do I hate it when I try to reply to someone and they tack my reply onto the top of the heap. I hit reply on whoever it was that said PJ sounds like Fiona Apple to her as if she thought PJ came later and was copying her, I guess.

That's interesting, because most respected music critics consider her one of the most talented musicians of the past 25 years. As for her looks, it doesn't affect her talent level, but I happen to think she is absolutely beautiful. I'm curious as to what female artists you consider talented/beautiful. My guess would be Fergie?

well, i am a huge fan of both of these artists. i love pj harvey and i think she is one of the greatest minds in contemporary music. however, fiona has a MUCH better and more powerful voice. pj is a musical genius but her voice is not her most impressive characteristic.
