Good fight for Teixeira! Way to go! Those two extra rounds were the judges trying to find a way to give a victory to Fujimoto. I'd say that Teixeira had the victory way before in the normal 3 rounds. Then, he won again on the first extra round... Good for him he knocked out Fujimoto, 'cause otherwise we might have lost the fight by judges decision!! Again, good job for Teixeira, not giving space to those dangerous Fujimoto high kicks...

Good calibar fighters fighting eachother sometimes do look shit, but the power from both of these guys clashing into eachothe could clearly be seen, even though most of the punches and kicks were glancing off eachother, but that shows strenghth of spirit, well done Texiria for having the strongest karate within him to defeat his opponent with superior inner strength spirit power, Osu!

I practice kyokushin, and really respect it. But come on...he was completetly out of shape and lacked explosive power. He is not a bad fighter. but this was a disgrace. The fact that I practice the same martial arts is no excuse for denying his poor performance.

ewerton Teixeira hat einen guten kampf gemacht und verdient gewonnen!!! Kyokushinkai ist eh eines der härtesten kampfsportarten der welt und zeigt wieder einmal wie gut es ist!!! auch kämpfer wie Andy Hug, Francisco Filho und Glaube Feitosa haben sich ja auch durchgesetzt im K1

Yeah totally agree he was clearly out of shape...the look on Francisco Filho's face shows how dissapointed he too was with the performance. But still Ewerton is a solid fighter and the fact that he is IKO 1 champ speaks volumes about his calibre as a fighter..the only thing is Kyokushin fighters aint that good at taking head hits or punching to the head.

Ewerton Teixeira needs to find a good boxing coach to help his punching like all Kyokushin Kai Karate Ka punching to the head doesnt come naturally and importantly defending yourself from getting punched in the head if he does this he will be a contender
