Good and bad aren't real things.. You call something good if it pleases you.. You call something bad if it displeases you. You decide whats good and whats bad and you think that if your good than God will love you. How many times does religion have to be proven wrong before everyone finally gets it?

You have no idea of what you speak. Religion does NOT say if I do something then God will love me. How stupid do you think we are?!
I know that God loves me no matter what I do or don't do. But that does not mean that I will do whatever I want.
I will still want to do whatever I can to serve the Lord. Jesus said to pick up our cross and follow Him. He also said that we have to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect.

miked518, how do you have a personal relationship with God if not through religion? Do you realize that God established RELIGION? How can you then reject religion if that is the norm through which God's rules are set forth?
Jesus Christ came to fulfill God's law & the prophets (Mt 5:17) & He did that by building HIS Church on Peter (Kepha) the Rock.

You misunderstood me is all.I just dont like the word 'religion' because it is misused mostly in our society. Some can be 'religious' and not be saved too, correct? The true meaning for Church is the body of believers in Jesus Christ. And yes, we can say 'church' meaning a building, but the more important meaning of 'Church' is the prior one. I know christians understand the differences, but the worldy misunderstand and make the faith of christianity to be 'just' another religion. God bless! :)

Agreed. Jesus is the Bridegroom. The Church is the Bride. WE are part of His Body, the Church.
But we also have to know that God DID establish a CHURCH in which His teachings are taught since Jesus gave all authority to His Priests to pass on the Faith as taught by Him. The only way it could be done is through the Church.

We are sinners. When we are born, we are born as children of Adam. We have to be baptized so that we can be adopted as children of God.
Without God we ARE evil. If I do something evil, I am being evil. I need God's grace to turn me around towards Him. I need to repent of my evil doing. I need Jesus in my life in order for me to do good. And my doing good is only God's good works He created for me to live in them. Eph 2:1-10
