| I like Clinton Portis but we dont have an offensive line to open up holes for him. Most of the time he has to find them on his own and with the Redskins offensive line being as old as they are, thats very rare. He will do a little bit better unde the new offence. With the play action fakes giving our opponents the impression that we will pass it; it will open yp holes for Clinton to run through creating the perfect fake play action run. |

| I hope Him Zorn allows him to run off to the side. I hate it when Joe Gibbs use to call the plays that involved him running through the middle. He never got any more than 5 yards if he was lucky. Normally when he ran off to the side which was once in a blue moon, he got atleast a 7 or 10 yard pick up. I have found that teams that use their running back to run to the side more, get more yards than ones that run straight up the middle. Plus Clinton Portis is now a power runner. He is a sprinter. |
