It is your own choice.I am only giving my best efforts in leading you to understand something that you do not.Reading the bible will not help you in the slightest if your heart is not open. You had said He was doing nothing and is not proving Himself. There are things in scripture prophesied for our days right now, things that have passed and things yet to come.I ask that you take ten minutes from your life and watch this video to me is breath taking. On YouTube, Louie Giglio-Laminin.

Also I was only explaining something to you and showing you how to have better knowledge of it.and you don't need to be so hostile to me I'm only speaking to you from my heart.what I was saying about hell I was talking to someone else who said heaven is a bar and hell a parking lot. I was speaking to you about curse and grace you had said things about starvation etc.

All the religious ... ( 2 months ago by Croecho)
All the religious talk is wonderful. I love the smell of radicalism in the morning; on both sides no less. Aside from the foolishness in discussing any of it, here's something to think about: "You know how many people God kills in the bible? Millions. And you know how many the big bad Devil kills? A paltry 10. The seven sons and three daughters of Job...on a bet with God. Kinda raises a question about heaven and hell. Which one should we really be afraid of?" -Ghost Rider.

My good man. There ... ( 2 months ago by Croecho)
My good man. There are two gods. The old testament (Wrath). The new testament(Love). The old testament is a rip-off of the Hebrew Mythology of a god, his angels, and demons the people should always be aware of. Jesus was a Jew who didn't agree with the Old Testament, thus Christianity was born under the notion of a loving god. Unfortunately, Christianity would never have become so popular unless it included some of the Old stories from the Hebrew faith. My brain is in full use..Your move.
So... All this ... ( 1 month ago by Rai289)
So... All this religious crap just because he dies and says heaven upon showing said heaven as a building used for Unwritten Law concerts? If you didn't understand, they are talking about religion because of a sign on a building saying heaven. It's supposed to be about what he's done and the consequences of his actions (I think).

Hmm...smells like gnosticism.
As for Jesus being a Jew, that is true. But to claim that he didn't agree w/ the OT is absurd. Why then does he quote OT scripture in the Gospels, and why does he claim that he's fulfilling prophecy if he doesn't agree w/ it?
To write off the OT as mythology disregards hundreds of years of Jewish history. We cannot ignore God's previous involvement in our world, because if you do God becomes this idol that we can shape into whatever we want.
Read up on Marcion.
Ummm...well the ... ( 1 month ago by Croecho)
Ummm...well the problem with all that is...I WAS writing off the OT as mythology, because that's how I look at it. Just as the Iliad served its purpose in reminding the Greeks of their noble "history", so too did the Jewish people NEED those "stories" to survive their, as well as explain their...misery. As for my other comment, Jesus was a prophet who DID NOT agree with the principle ideals of the Old Testament. Remember that Jesus didn't write the bible. Any Jesus quote is "second-hand".
Keep in mind, I'm ... ( 1 month ago by Croecho)
Keep in mind, I'm not arguing for the sake of "turning" you to my opinion...no that's a strictly Christian/Atheistic approach to religious argument. Yes, I'm Atheist, but I've not become "totally" cynical, and argue only because I enjoy it. However, whenever I talk about the Old or New Testament, I do so at a literary approach. The difference between the two testaments will always be that we know that Jesus existed. We don't know about giant fish, floods and naked people with snakes/fruits.
The problem with ... ( 1 month ago by Croecho)
The problem with discussing anything on an intellectual or philosophical level, however...will always be the faith factor. We're discussing this subject on different terms, but I'm not the type of Atheist that's going to say you're stupid for believing in something. You'll sleep easier than I do. Remember, the Old Testament...is radically different from the Hebrew bible (where's all the celestial wars???) Basically its the difference between an R rating and a PG rating on a movie.
can i ask you ... ( 1 month ago by SubliminalCh3mical)
can i ask you something lets say godforbid that you passed away suddenly, and the next thing you know your standing infront of a man who is going to judge everything youve done and said in your life? he tells (keep in mind i dont believe your a bad person just an example) you that you spent your whole life against someone who created you and everything you know and everyone you love? what would you say? and OF COARSE you cant prove that ANY religon is wrong or about life after death
and of coarse you ... ( 1 month ago by SubliminalCh3mical)
and of coarse you cant prove its real, ....what would you say? i always wanted to ask an Atheist that im not judeing you becuse you sound like your not judgeing anybody else for there believes, i personally think that if your a good honest person no matter Hebrew, Hindu, Muslim, or Catholic that you will be accepted by what ever happands or maybe does not happan after life
Most humans will ... ( 1 month ago by Croecho)
Most humans will spend their entire lives asking questions...asking why? We will live to ask, not even knowing we are asking. Sometimes its in a thought. Sometimes in a dream. Sometimes in a private discussion that gets a little out of hand. Sometimes in a political debate that spurs a war. In the end, there is one truth. The answer only comes in death, and by the Atheist belief, we won't be able to relish it. As Decartes feared, there will be the eternal blackness.
Of course, I can't ... ( 1 month ago by Croecho)
Of course, I can't prove it...and I wasn't put here to prove it. You asked me what I would say or do, but in asking such a thing you encroach upon my own faithlessness (as if I trespassed on your faith, and asked you how you would feel if it YOU were wrong, and there was no judgment, and life is without reward or punishment...only the inevitability of death), and I am unable to answer such a question except to say that I envy you; The faithful cannot fathom how hard it is to believe in nothing.
i understand ... ( 1 month ago by SubliminalCh3mical)
i understand everything your saying, and if I was wrong ....nothing would happan, i would rot in the ground, how would i know i was wrong?...but if im right? i get judged for my sins OR w/e may happen like everbody/anybody some questions dont have answers, i find it enjoyable sometimes that people can argue for there WHOLE lifes to prove something is or is not real After you die
On an entirely ... ( 1 month ago by Croecho)
On an entirely different topic...ON topic to the Music Video. Songs can mean many things to different people. I have always liked this song, because "for me", the entire song, he lists his flaws and his hopelessness, and reiterates that despite it all he can't be saved or changed. And if you look at the music video, his "Heaven" is being able to start over, at the club, with her. Too much fun, and for that he's cast into eternal hopelessness...and he still doesn't want to be saved.
