"..But whatever the music i will admire jmj for all he has done and for the troubles he has got me through for the rest of my life." Agree 100%. Its nothing wrong to evolve and try new things. But to me his latest album is like DaVinci going from painting sixteen chapel to draw a singel line on a pice of white paper. Im positive that if anyone else hade done this record isntead of Jarre, people would have looked at it diffrent.

I think that Téo & Téa is great music; some fresh from the "classic JMJ-style" but I also miss the original versions of Jarre´s classic tunes.. could Jarre do the 5.1 effect that he always wanted to do his tracks by playing the tracks with "almost" original sounds/instruments but with 5.1 system ;) I hope you´ll get my point, excuse me my messy exlplain ^^

Jean Michel has always been a vain bastard! Any fan knows that. Ego and vainity has always been part of the JMJ experience. Look as his early albums and videos... his face has always featured. I'm sorry he felt he had to try to look younger, I think he looks strange now! And it always reeks of a deep insecurity if someone goes for the knife.

what do you mean ego and vainity has always been part of JMJ? just because his face is in almost all albums (or back covers) an videos, doesn't mean ego is characteristical to him! come on, jupiter8, be serious! you cannot know anything about his character, even though we know a little bit of his private life. I think he's a nice artist, and really a modest one!

Oh my like he is the ONLY artist that has done any facial restoration. I mean wow people, how thick headed are you? Had he not been that famous, none of you would probably care. Does anyone give a darn for what this man has done being part of UNESCO? For the environment? The comments on the board below just sums up the bullshit by which people are judged these days. The important thing is the music. Jarre has made a major diversion for this album and has always been brave in trying new things. And he always pulls it off.

Now, why is it that so-called 'true fans' keep bemoaning the newer stuff of the same artists?
Téo&Téa is a good album, when you listen to it it may not be the same as, say, Chronologie... but if you would just sit down and listen to the fucking music...
"Urrr, Jarre is now a faliure for his music changing." He says it himself, he is always trying new things.
Waiting for Cousteau was my personal favourite song done by anyone, but this DOES NOT MEAN OTHER SONGS ARE BAD. Just accept change.
