I'm not in the fan-dub but I thought as a general question: Shouldn't the r's be a bit more rolled, as in, kind of a mix between an L and an R? Like, it's still and R but you roll your tongue in a way that makes it almost feel like your pronouncing an L?
I was just wondering because the way you pronounced Bakura, because you used a more "American" R, sounded slightly butchered.
I could be wrong; you're the one who knows Japanese. That's just something I picked up while watching the anime.

I've been through this already several times after joining the crew and I'll just let you know precisely how much you learn about Japanese by watching anime: NOTHING. NOOOOOTHING. If you think you've "learned" anything about any language by watching a cartoon then you are provably wrong. Don't be a weeaboo. If you don't know what a weeaboo is then wiki it, but I'll just say that they are annoying as hell.

Hello. Just wanted to thank you for posting this. I thought I had the specifics of pronunciation down, but I didn't think you'd mostly ignore the 'u's in Mokuba and Bakura. I'll be sure to look up the specifics in my Nakama study book. Thanks again. Also, your voice is very nice. XD

Good and all (dough I don't see the need for SUCH perfect pronounciation) but, you could have added the English dub names on the bottom so that the English based fans would understand what are you talking about. I know what you are talking about, but for some this may cause a slight "Uhhh... Who?"

That's fine, you know. It's ok to ask questions but that reply wasn't meant to be insulting (I poke fun at myself as well because I've unintentionally peeved crew members multiple times due to misinformation). I meant it as a warning.
Let me explain: There are a few members in the crew who would sooner obliterate a naysayer with a nuke than accept the criticism/speculation. If I hadn't said something, they would have. People take stuff more seriously when they're donating their time for free.

It's all right, I understand. I admit my reaction to what you said was a bit much and I'm sorry too... I was mostly insulted by the weeaboo statement because I'm not one. I most certainly don't believe that Japan is the greatest country in the world because of anime and I know that Japan does NOT equal anime. Perhaps these other people should learn to be more patient with "naysayers" as well because they're not all weeaboos, or at least the same type. :P

I don't know about that. People tend to pick up languages better when they're exposed to general media whether it's cartoons, news or drama series than in a classroom. I tend to find a lot of my classmates in Japanese class got into learning the language as a result of watching anime and their pronouciation was a lot better than those that have never been exposed to it.
