I find it kind of ironic that the top-selling single is about a christian holiday and it was written by a Jewish man, Irving Berlin. Just goes to show you that Christmas brings everyone together no matter what race/religion/class.

Guess what? I don't particularly like Crosby (as a man) myself. Bur YOU aren't the determining factor as to whether the man had "talent" or not--his millions of fans that he'd accumulated since the 1920's (til even the present day), however, WERE! Oh, and quoting ANY source (including the Bible) to make a valid observation is done everywhere so I can do it here whether you like it or not. And you're lying about Crosby being a pedophile. He was a jerk, but he didn't rape his own kids, liar!

Crosby was a neglectful dad to his first set of kids and had, like most show-biz figures,put his career ahead of his family. After being widowed and re-marrying and siring more children he devoted much more time to parenthood; as he grew older and more successful he had less need to make any career decisions that would conflict with his parental duties toward his younger kids. But he wasn't a monster, and your saying he is undermines your feeble attempt to establish any kind of credibility.

I dislike many things about Hope&Crosby--both were self-seekers and often cantankerous individuals. But portraying them as being far worse than they actually were only makes you look like a kook that no one in his right mind can take seriously. Here's a word of advice that I probably shouldn't give you--especially if it WORKS: Whatever your agenda is, your only hope of succeeding in it is if you conduct it in a SUBTIL manner. Constantly bombardments with a ton of bricks NEVER wins "converts."

Your "bit" about Crosby "stealing black music" doesn't wash, either, John-John. You could better attribute such "theft" to someone like Pat Boone than to Crosby, who also "stole" the music of NON-blacks like Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and a whole slew of others.
