haha TSOL is so basic... one of my all time favorite bands seen them play 4 times.. TSOL was second wave punk anyway.. and youre right some of it is similar but its NOT goth ...GOTH IS POST PUNK. you know shit of punk so keep youre trap shut ignorant motherfucker .. been a punk since I was a wee lad. yes goth is post punk i never said it wasn't. but it came from punk. that's my point. I know all the bands you mentioned and I actually like punk better than goth. just stating the fact that goth came from punk, and disagreeing with you when you said "goth music doesnt even hit on the same bases punk does" ... that is false. It's different, yes but it came from the same place and time and there is a lot of cross over.

Why do you kids always have to compare bands? Always gotta put a label on shit so you can sound cool. I was listening to Bauhaus in 1984. Someone cool introduced me to Bauhaus and New Order and countless other bands that influenced my life. Back in 1985 kids on the "scene" were talking about what's punk or new wave or "alternative" or whatever, and I remember thinking "who gives a crap?". It's good music, just leave it at that.

Oh my god!!!! i was obsessed with dracula (and this was only in back in april) and just like you i was doing a search on lugosi and i found bauhaus!!! and now my new obsession is...BAUHAUS!!!! i have never heard a better band!!! and as for hannah montana and the jonas brothers, ive always felt the same way about them, they should just go to hell!its sad goths these days listen to shit and have never even heard of bauhaus.
