Safety Michael Hill from Duquesne is a 2007 NFL Draft Prospect that we feel has been undervalued on many draft boards....with NFL Europe drafting former Duquesne DB Michael Ford on 2/23/07 a late scouting push should be made to obtain and cross check film on Michael Hill as well as teammate Todd Lewis....Both were coached at Duquesne by former NFL Safety and Syracuse QB Bill Hurley who coached the Berlin Thunder DB's in 2006 in NFL Europe...

you dont follow football very much.. two other DB's from Duquesne played in NFLE last year.... did we think he would be drafted?. NO., was he a prospect that deserved attention during the time of the NFL Draft?.. of course or I would not have said so.... so what happened?.. Redskins signed him into their mini camp and then he got cut.... was I correct in posting him as an NFL prospect?.... I think my last post answered that question as "YES"... timed real well but wasnt a fit for the Skins...

Wow! all these big men playing "Football" without actually kicking a ball! All the padding and the helmets are nice though. We wouldn't want anyone to break a nail! Should call it "Run Into Each Other / Throw Ball"!

Duquesne has a long history and is not just another MAAC school. It was an orange bowl and was the first team to use hand signals in a game. So it's just not a program without a history.
My second point is that these kids play for the love of the game and receive no athletic scholarships.
