Yes I think that you missed my point sonofbeliol...in my own way I was trying to say how dreadful the whole thing was and how people sometimes seem to remember it as though it was some Hollywood style war film. War is evil and solves nothing its certainly not a big macho adventure 'hunting charlies down' like the song says anyway!
