USC proceeds to shut out Auburn 23-0 behind first-year starter Matt Leinart, who's very first collegiate pass goes for a touchdown to Mike Williams. USC would go on to win a share of the 2003 National Championship.

When you get right down to it the class of the SEC is LSU, Florida, Georgia, and maybe will be back Alabama this year. Besides those teams, every other team in the conference rides on their coat tails and gets undeserved respect.
This game was complete domination by the USC defense....they owned Auburn.
USC is the SEC's Daddy.....
Les Miles is scared to death of playing USC, and he should be. Maybe he isn't that dumb after all. Have a great day.
