This is the longer version of the old Alex Webster video I posted months ago. All footage was filmed during the recording of 'The Wretched Spawn' at Sonic Ranch Studios. Alex talks about the recording process, gives a small tour of his room at the studio while talking about writing, talks about his gear, shows us some of his bass skills, gives a small interview & shows off a slap bass technique, talks some more then records a part from "They Deserve To Die" then jokes around in an art shop.

I guess it depends what you can classify as a really good bassist, I listen to TRIP WAMSLEY, ADAM NITTI, JEFF SHMIDT... Alex is only being compared to CLIFF, idk, Ive upgraded from that style, its good for what it is, but its nothing special

He's only being compared to cliff because the majority of people who listen to his stuff only listen to metal and they don't know any other bassist for comparison. Yes those others you named are very good bassists but just because he's not doing 8 finger tapping arpeggios on a 6 string doesn't make him any less skilled, it makes his style different. Fitting for the music he plays IMO. Have you ever heard of Blotted Science? Look 'em up, he stands out a lot more on their stuff then it does in CC.
