You've heard of the Reception, now watch the Deflection. Watch the totally undermanned Beavers (two senior starters out, two other starters banged up) score a miracle basket to propel themselves to a 65-62 win over the rival Ducks in the 325th edition of the Civil War (most ever meetings between two teams in NCAA history).
Chris Stephens drives to the hoop, banks a tough lay up too hard... the ball falls into a group of three Ducks and one Beaver... what happens next will go down in Beaver basketball lore.
Also includes the final attempt by Oregon to tie and the resulting celebration.

What's funny is in that same game, Brett Casey stole the ball away from Aaron Brooks. That and losing the 3-point shooting contest to a girl are going to be the two things I'll remember most about Brooks.

Are you kidding? They can't shoot, they can't rebound, and they are still one of the least athletic teams in the pac-10. By the way I love the beavers, I hope they do make it, but i'm realistic.
