The first nfs I played was NFS II SE.. then nfs 3, 4, Porshe 2000, Hot Pursuit, and the last one was underground 1...
After underground I got bored with nfs series.

In my opinion the last real drivers simulator was NFS1 + SE. Way ahead of it's time in terms of car physics. They just need to make a new one with true handling cars. All this street racing is nonsense when the car physics are a load of rubbish.

luckly u forget pro street... i don't even consider it a need for speed, it's just a kid game... EA really made a flop in quality with it, expecially after Carbon

Ah the memories :D The first game I ever bought was Need For Speed: Road Challenge. Man did I love that game. Me and my friends loved the celtic (was it called that?) track @ 2.50. Only thing I didn't like was that if you chose the M5, everyone else chose the lambo from the same class :( Porshe Unleashed was next, however I sucked at it and never got to the modern era cars xD Since then I've played every single one of the games in the series and I'm planning on getting Undercover too.

Underground was the revolution in all spheres of car racing... new gameplay, style, design, story mode..the works. The new nfs games dont even come close... :(
