gibril is a good tackler, especially at stop the run,am a giants fan and i think he should have stayed cause he would have been a better in spagnolo scheme. then again, its all bout da money. goodluck 2 him. i rather have gibril than butler. he looks lost when the deep ball is thrown his way.

damn, im gonna miss gibril, my fav, player on the giants defense. now whos is gonna get all the tackles when im playing madden? i sure hope we get phillips, he isnt gibril but there styles are nearly the same and i'd rather him be bacj there then that bumb on a log butler-he sucks!!!!!!! and sammy knight is good but he's crusty old. our 2 starting safteys should be kenny phillips and michael johnson. youth rules!!! oh yeah, big ups to the raiders D, they upgraded big time

dont feel too bad about losing gibril. yea he was a tackling machine but we werent gonna overpay for him like the raiders did. sammy knight had almost the exact same stats as him last year, nd though hes up there in age,he can help groom johnson nd phillips.

I agree he is a upgrade compared to that chump of a safety that the raiders had (Stuart Schwargert). Oakland should be fine with their 2 safties Wilson and Michael Huff along with their corners Namdi Aso and Deangelo Hall.

I can't say that the silver and black is back, but I can say they can now contend with the other teams. It's not about ALL about having superstars on your team. It's really about meshing with your players and having that team chemistry.

i just hope the raiders enjoy their new safety who is anything but a gamebreaker. he had an impressive and productive rookie season that only had me expecting a rising superstar the likes of ed reed... but instead he became an overachiever for what he really was.. he is not a playmaker and got most of his interceptions off of lucky deflections... gibril was one of my favorite giants for awhile but now that he's gone i won't really miss him.. but i guess he's a solid safety

i have a feeling he wont be as good with the raiders but i still like him.he was a very good player.he had it all,he can pretty mucj play anywhere.i gonna miss this guy like hell.i think he fit spag's defense perfectly and its sad to see him go so soon.well i guess sammy knight and kenny phillips and michael johnson are good players too.enjoy him oakland,hes a keeper.
