I was a bike msgr in NY many yrs ago, loved it! The video is pretty accurate - they're not showing off, you get used to this kind of stuff and ride like this every day. It's a lot of fun, you get to see almost every building in NY, incl museums, for free. The worst thing on the street is when someone opens a door into you :( Also, the heat / humidity in the summer is a killer. But you don't have a boss, and it's not a 9-5 job. You don't have to take cr@p from anyone, except cops (very rare)
