This has always been one of my favorite 80s songs. It's so haunting. It's one of those classic songs about longing, and regret, and how you can't go back...yet remains somehow uplifting and hopeful. Time marches on and we can't go back and relive our pasts, even though we sometimes try. And things always seem sweeter when looked back at through the haze of time. I graduated high school in West Virginia in 1983, and this song takes me back to those days. Just pure gold. Love it.

One of my favorite songs from the 1980s. Til Tuesday was an incredible group that came out of the Boston music scene when I was in college there. Powerful lyrics and music.

I bought this album/cassette (shows my age) while in college. It was a staple in my cassette deck. 22 years later...what ever happened to that cassette? One day I was carrying my books to class, now I own my own company and spend my weekends on baseball fields with my son and attending my daughters basketball games. Did I fall into a worm hole?

Henry....you didn't fall into a worm hole. ;-) You grew up. The song is very reflective but it's a lot about lost love. Our passion and adventure is not only related to romance. There's a world to change and wonderful things left to do. We all have our "bucket lists" so to speak. I love this song. It moves me deep in my heart and gets below my radar. Aimee should have been tapped to write and perform the theme for the movie "Quantum of Solace" The song they've got is total crap. Aimee would have written a more reflective love song...which is what the title "Quantum of Solace" suggests.
