George Strait is... THE KING OF COUNTRY MUSIC!!!! He is my favorite artist along with The Carpenters. Even though the carpenters are a favorite of mine, George Strait is my all time favorite country performer and always will be. Ah, a place where an artist can take his/her time and say what they want and thank everybody they want to thank. You can't do that on TV. You talk for 1 minute and then they play what I remember Allision Krauss referred to as "shut up music", lol. This is great and yeah George did struggle at times to get through his speech, totally understandable. Great job though George! Congrats.
