Don't even contemplate watching it In the past 10 years, I've probably seen more than 10000 movies. This is the first movie that I've ever failed to finish. I couldn't handle the torture anymore.
I would pay someone to kick me in the balls or get shagged by a horse for seeing even a minute of this movie. This film transcends the depths of awfulness and takes awfullnes to new depths.

I am very sorry that you feel this way about the movie. You are entitled to your opinion but I feel that you have failed to see the deeper issue and the truth of this movie. It's not about the acting, shooting, directing etc. It is about what can be accomplished when you have God completely and whole heartily in your life. Having said that I don't know you maybe I never will. No matter what I am going to pray for you.

I and my family have watched this movie several times, and enjoyed it. Each time it seems to speak to us when we need some encouragement, or are questioning if the Lord really cares. It truly shows the power of God, even in its getting to a public theatre! I was amazed they let it play in one. Praise the Lord that HE is still in control, even when it doesn't seem that He is.
