| What's trippy is that he seems to really know it by heart. "Hold the Line" is basically a pop song, albeit fairly hard/heavy and I'll bet a good percentage of hard rock/heavy metal guitarists count it as one of the great solos of all time. |

| damn, Steve was blazing here, but then he was playing over a Megadeth song while Marty had to slow things a bit to fit that commercial Pop Hard Rock song from Toto.I think it shows Marty's a gentleman allowing Steve to have the more impressive shredfest here. If it was the other way around or if they were trading solos over same piece I'm sure it might've been Marty over Steve. Have you seen where Marty outplays Gilbert on Tornado of Souls? |
