Brilliant! And yes he look stoned but I dont think he is as stoned as people say.
He is TOTALLY aware of feedback and other problems. At around 3:30 the crowd whistles and he does open his eyes and checks it out, then goes back into his song.
I think he may be riffing and is just into the song.
Yes there are some stumbles lyrically but he suffered from stage fright and that can also account for the jumbled lyrics.
Either way a glimpse at a troubadore who wrote some amazing songs

One of the best singer/songwriters of all time and hardly anyone knows who he is.
Threw it all away on drugs though.
His first three albums (not including early blues recordigs) Tim Hardin 1,2 and 3 are brilliant.

The folk guitar performers from the 60s and 70s were the great. 2 of the most obscures of these were Tim Harding and Tim Buckley. Both were wonderful and both died tragically young of drug over doses. If you don't know who Tim Buckley is, type in Tim Buckley Song To The Siren. He performed this song on the last episode of the Monkees, The Frodis Caper.
