In 2002, the song was ranked at number 8 on VH1's 100 Greatest One Hit Wonders, although this status is often used incorrectly in the United States when labeling a-ha. Yeah, this song puts me right back in the skating rink on a Friday night- back in the dark ages of the 1980's when we had those 20lb rental skates, video games that cost a quarter, and a watery Coke was 50 cents.
