Nice review. (: I'm not a big fan of rocky but the way the nerd tried to make us aware of this movies origins was...nice. Refreshing to hear that there's a movie out there made from the heart and not for the money. ^_^

I was not happy that this was officially called rocky balboa and not rocky VI, I always thought they would of had a black and white flash back of the street fight from rocky V in the begining of the new film.
Oh and i didn't like the end stallone should have knocked out dixon at the end of the movie..

I agree on the bit about the Survivor song, but on another level I was pretty happy about the regression of the music. Rocky 2 is where the music peaked, in my opinion, Bill Conti's work on that was really amazing. Redemption and Conquest are two of the most memorable movie pieces ever.

I think what made this obviously the last film, and no sneak come backs in a few years is tht he lost at the end, in the other ones he won at the end so Rocky would think and know that he had the ability to win, but in this one he is just not able to beat the younger fitter boxers and now know that he doesn't have the ability to be the champion again. A good finish to a Great series.:D
