Pizzakid: alcohol is NOT a truth serum, neither anecdotally or scientifically (especially the latter). All it does is distort thinking and amplify emotions. While it is true that inhibitions are lowered, in no way can one be certain that someone is being honest simply because they have been drinking, nor can it be certain that the persons ideas have not been unduly influenced by the alcohol.
