Seen them in 1976 at The Richfield Colliseum near Cleveland Ohio...Great show! Beck changed style after hearing Billy Cobham's "Spectrum" album with Tommy Bolin on lead guitar. The rest is history..."Blow By Blow", "Wired" and "There And Back"...great stuff!!!

Yeah, that's Jan Hammer. A monster in his own right. He played drums on the tune 'Led Boots' from the same release as this song and it's AMAZING!! Jeff Beck developed a lot of his style from the way that Jan Hammer does his bends on the keyboard, it was very influential to him.

Holy Crap! After listening to Jeff Beck all these years, I still had no idea he played with this freaking THUMB - no flatpick, no thumbpick! WTF?!? Does he never use a flatpick? How does he DO that? All those artificial harmonics etc? Damn!
